Terms & process
What you can expect from us before you enquire: how ordering works, who deals with the factory, how a claim is handled and what applies to made-to-measure items.
Who we supply
We supply trade customers exclusively: window and installation firms, construction companies, developers, the trade, joiners and property managers. No sales to end customers.
Lead time, payment & minimum order value

The order confirmation is always what binds — it states price, specification and delivery date in writing.
Quotation & costing
We cost item by item: price per element, freight itemised separately, no lump sums. Quotations are valid for 30 days. All prices are net, exclusive of statutory VAT. Your trade conditions apply to your business and are not transferable to third parties.
The dimensions are your dimensions
Manufacturing is based on the dimensions you supply. We sanity-check them but do not take responsibility for them — made-to-measure items cannot be exchanged. If in doubt, better to ask once than to manufacture wrongly once.
Delivery date & delays at the factory
We confirm the delivery date in writing in the order confirmation. If something shifts at the partner factory you hear it from us as soon as we know — not on the delivery day and not via your client. We only make partial deliveries where they are reasonable for you.
Payment & deposit
We do not ask for payment in full up front. Up to an order value of €15,000 net we work without a deposit — you pay on delivery or within the agreed payment term. From €15,000 net we ask for a deposit of 30 to 50 per cent on placing the order, with the balance falling due on delivery or after receipt of goods. The reason is pre-financing: we pay the partner factory before the goods reach you. On a first order and for bespoke items a deposit may be required regardless of value — the rate that applies to your order is stated in the quotation and becomes binding in the order confirmation. A payment term is subject to a positive credit assessment; for larger orders partial payments according to production progress are possible. The goods delivered remain our property until paid in full.
CE marking & declaration of performance
Windows and external doors are construction products within the meaning of the EU Construction Products Regulation (No. 305/2011). Every element delivered comes with the CE marking and the declaration of performance from the manufacturing factory. We submit both on request before the contract is concluded, not only with the delivery. The same applies to the test certificates for the system in question, for instance on burglar resistance (RC 2, RC 3) or the thermal transmittance value. Which figures a system achieves depends on the factory and on the chosen specification — we state them with the specific quotation rather than claiming them across our entire range.
Delivery & transport damage
Please check for transport damage and completeness on arrival. Damage must be noted on the consignment note and reported to us without delay — without that note the carrier cannot be held liable, and the cost then falls on you. The delivery point must be accessible and unloading must be possible.
Claims — we deal with the factory
If something is defective you come to us, not to the factory. We take the report, sort it out with the manufacturer and tell you how it proceeds: rectification or replacement delivery. You have one contact and do not have to negotiate with a foreign factory. Please report obvious defects without delay, hidden ones without delay after discovery (§ 377 HGB).
Warranty & factory guarantee
Statutory warranty applies; towards entrepreneurs the limitation period is twelve months from the passing of risk. On top of that comes the factory guarantee of the respective manufacturer — we provide the terms and the declaration of performance for every element on request. We are not liable for damage resulting from improper installation.
Reordering
Follow-up orders run via the same contact who knows your project. For series deliveries we record your specification so reorders match without renewed coordination.
Collection & goods issue
Borsigallee 45 is our warehouse and goods issue point — not a showroom. No goods are held there for viewing. Collection is by appointment, once your order has been recorded and the agreed deposit has been received; your order will be picked and ready at the agreed time. Please call ahead.
